Nelson Paint Horses is owned and run by Trevor & La Donna Nelson.  It was established in 2007 when we bought our first Paint Stallion Mister Bruce Almighty and started showing him locally under the guidance of Hal & April Schiffner.  They can now be found at all local APHA/AQHA shows and PtHA World Championships!

La Donna has been around horses since 1993 and has rode mostly in barrel racing.  In 2006 she went to work for Rising Sun Quarter Horses and entered into the world of AQHA & APHA.  To her credit she has shown a Top 10 Finalist, A finalist, A Top 5 Finalist in Halter, and in 2009 she showed a filly she trained to a Reserve World Championship in Pole Bending as a 3year old and a Reserve World Championship in Barrel Racing as a 4 year old!

Trevor was thrown into the world of horses in 2006 upon meeting La Donna.  He now rides with the USWRCA and also helps get horses ready at the horse shows.
